Last Sunday night at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway, Kurt Wilson scored his third Lightning Sprint feature-race win of the season in Queensland; however, it was an impressive Glen Prowse who certainly made him have to work hard for it.
Throughout the Australian speedway scene there are numerous female competitors, and the Lightning Sprints in Queensland are no different and they currently have two female racers keeping their male rivals honest.
It certainly wasn’t easily achieved, but last Saturday night at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway, Scott Genrich returned from a crash at the previous race meeting to clinch his maiden Lightning Sprint feature-race win of the season.
After riding out a car-destroying crash over the Christmas-New Year period, Toowoomba’s Scott Genrich is armed with a new car for this Saturday night’s race meeting at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway that is going to be supporting the latest World Series Sprintcars Championship round.
Scott Genrich had one hand on the feature-race winning trophy in the Lightning Sprints last Monday night at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway; however, a crash denied him of the win and handed it to Northern NSW-based visitor Kurt Wilson.
